In an effort to fight against childhood hunger, Three Square Food Bank is hosting its annual 'Bag Childhood Hunger' campaign.
Now through May 31, every dollar donated will provide up to six meals for children in need. According to the local organization, one in six children in Southern Nevada struggle with food insecurity.
"The sad reality is that many kids don't have enough food to grow up healthy," said Beth Martino, president and CEO of Three Square."Our Bag Childhood Hunger Campaign aims to fix this by making sure every hungry child in our community can get the food they need to thrive."
